I was very excited to spend a few days exploring the wilderness of Jämtland Härjedalen, guided by Escapade Sweden. We learned Nordic skills such as bush craft, traditional archery, and other aspects of “Rewilding"to gain awareness of our natural surroundings and local know-how. We backpacked in the footsteps of the hunters and gatherers, vikings, and the indigenous people of northern Scandinavia, the Sami. The weather made for difficult filming conditions while hiking for days off the grid, but it lead to a unique story of a very special experience.
It was a pleasure working with the Adventure Travel Trade Association storytelling team of 6. We each individually filmed 5 days of pre-adventures across Sweden. Check out the Adventure Travel Trade Association on-site edit, a collimation of over 40 full days of filming, edited in less than 3 days.
