The Depths of Brazil

It was an honor having the opportunity to explore everything São Paulo has to offer as a sustainable travel destination with ATTA. The Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest is one of the most diverse ecosystems on the planet, encompassing over 20,000 species of plants. Some 450 tree species have been found in just 1/3 of an acre. We saw many tropical birds as well as bigger creatures like tappers, ant eaters. My favorite part of the trip was being one of the first groups to repel into the depths of Caverna do Diabo "devil's cave" then continued canyoneering along the underground Tapagem River while squeezing between rocks and plunging underneath the waterfalls.
