2017 Full Lunar Eclipse from Grand Teton

Updated: Jul 9, 2019

Growing up, my dad was fascinated by astronomy. Which meant traveling to some of the most desolate/darkest places in America to freeze our butts off while gazing at stars. Though I may have not fully appreciated it then, I am now fascinated by the immense amount of information he knows about our universe. He can point out dozens of consolations, planets and galaxies. Pretty incredible realizing some of those specks represent billions of stars!

Time-lapse of the total eclipse in 45 seconds. Such a beautiful and surreal experience.
